REMEMBERING JIMI DOUGANS

In remembrance of our brother in music, Jimi Dougans

(original/founding member of The Young Senators),

AAMA has begun a community GoFundMe donation

campaign in support of Jimi's loving wife, Sherry,

and their family.

The Young Senators gained popularity in the 1960's and

are credited as the creators of Go-Go (DC's official music),

with hits like "Jungle" and "7th & T."  The band was chosen

by former Temptation Eddie Kendricks to be his recording

and touring band, backing him on solo hits like

"Keep On Truckin'", "Boogie Down", and

"Girl You Need A Change of Mind."

Your donation is tax deductible.
