Motown Tik-Tok Challenge
In February 2021, AAMA partnered with the Safe Harbors on the Hudson in Newburgh, NY in presenting the "Motown-TikTok Challenge" Project.
Both non-profit organizations collaborated in featuring youth presenting their own dance moves to classic Motown music and posting them on TikTok, as well as sound bites with original Motown artists and other talented musicians. These soundbites give the history of their musical journey and the influences of the legendary music of Motown.
This presentation provided educational lessons in music and dance for young people.
